Programme:

Barrie Wright replaced Grenville Hair at Left Back and Jim McCalliog came on for Rod Johnson at Inside Left. McCalliog had just joined United as an amateur, but while he never made the grade with United, he did find fame with first Chelsea, and then Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves. While at Hillsborough he scored three times in two appearances for the Scotish Under 23 team before he gained four full caps for his country, scoring the third and winning goal for Scotland in their famous 3-2 win over England, who were recent World Cup winners, at Wembley on his International debut on 15th April 1967. He picked up his fifth and final cap for Scotland while at Molineux. For Tommy Younger's team, Roger Hunt of Liverpool replaced Pat Quinn at Inside Right, Alex Harley of Manchester City came on for Ian St John at Centre Forward and Matt Gray, also of Manchester City, replaced Jimmy Melia at Inside Left. Both Hunt and Harley scored, after coming on.
